Consultant at Bureau Baarda (mid-career/senior)

We are looking for a Consultant to help organisations apply our unique role model and contribute to transparent and future-proof HR policies. 

Who are we? 

Bureau Baarda is part of Highberg (formerly BexerHamstra), a leading consultancy firm specialising in organisational design, remuneration and pensions. We are the pioneers behind Model Baarda – the first role model of its kind in the Netherlands – and advise HR teams at (fast-growing) organisations on structuring roles, developing staff and designing fair and motivating remuneration policies. 

Our approach is pragmatic and always based on co-creation. No off-the-shelf solutions, just bespoke solutions that really work. You’ll be working within a close-knit, dedicated team of Consultants, Customer Success Managers and Online Learning Experts. 

Your role 

As a Consultant, you will be responsible for initiating and delivering projects with Model Baarda. You will advise clients on the most appropriate approach, draw up quotations, facilitate sessions to develop a Job Matrix and People Matrix, and provide support in establishing a coherent policy for people development and remuneration. 

You will work on projects of varying sizes and levels of complexity. You will work both independently and as part of a team, with plenty of scope for your own input and development.

What do you bring to the table? 

• You must have at least a higher vocational education (HBO) level of working and thinking;
• You have several years’ experience in a consultancy role or are ready to make the move to becoming a consultant;
• You have an interest in organisational development, HR and/or remuneration;
• You are curious, keen to learn and have a pragmatic approach;
• You communicate clearly and persuasively, and are able to get people on board with change;
• You have a good understanding of the issues faced by medium-sized and large organisations;
• You work in a structured and results-oriented manner;
• You speak and write Dutch fluently.
